Websites

Why most small business websites don’t work

They either came out of a website builder and look like ten thousand others, or they have grown out of plugins over the years until nobody dares change anything. Both end the same way: the site loads slowly, it is awkward on a phone, and enquiries still only arrive by accident.

So we don’t start with how it looks. We start with what somebody is actually after when they land on your site. Opening hours. What you do. Whether you are nearby. How to reach you. Design comes once that is settled.

How we build

No page builder: code we set up ourselves and actually understand, and static pages instead of a database sitting behind every request. That sounds technical, but it has two very practical effects: the site is fast, and there is very little that can break or be broken into.

It also works for somebody using only a keyboard or a screen reader. That is part of the build, not an extra. What you end up with runs as well on an old Android phone as on a new laptop.

What it costs

The build starts at € 2,400 and is invoiced at the fixed price agreed beforehand. What your site actually costs depends on scope: five pages is a different job from a bilingual site with appointment enquiries. You get the exact figure in writing after the free first conversation.
